Although we’re well into the fall season and summer is long gone, camping trips and bonfires are still going strong. And what’s better than roasting marshmallows over an open fire on a crisp fall day! Making s’mores brings back cherished childhood memories and can be a fun bonding activity for a family or a group of friends, including those on the gluten free (GF) diet
Following the GF diet can still be challenging at times, especially for children. Summer camps, camping trips, and eating out may be filled with dread for both parents and children because of the risk of gluten cross-contamination. Many kids on the GF diet often miss out on fun activities because of their dietary restrictions; whether this be gluten and/or lactose intolerance, wheat allergy, or any other food allergy many children are diagnosed with today.
