Pumpkin picking is everyone’s favorite activity this time of the year. Dr. Schar has also gone pumpkin picking this season! Our new Artisan Baker 10 Grains & Seeds Bread is made with whole pumpkin seeds. This new addition to our Artisan Baker bread family also includes sunflower, chia, flax, and quinoa seeds. As for the grains, we’ve added amaranth to our usual suspects of quinoa, millet, and buckwheat. We work with farmers in Italy who grow these naturally gluten free grains just for us. This way we can control our production process from the seed to the final product.

The idea behind this new Artisan Baker bread was to create another texture and flavor profile by adding additional grains and seeds, but also to create a bread that’s lower in total sugars at 4g as well as sodium at 190mg, and a good source of fiber at 4g/serving (2 slices). And, as all our breads, this one is not only gluten free but also dairy- and preservative-free, non-GMO, and it doesn’t contain eggs.

But this new bread is only one of the 10 different breads we have in total! Our Artisan Baker family includes the original, white bread—which has also been the number one selling gluten free bread in the U.S. for over a year; the multigrain bread, which also is an excellent source of fiber with 5g/serving; and, of course, the new 10 Grains & Seeds. We also have a deli-style bread (resembling a rye bread—without the rye!), white ciabatta and multigrain ciabatta rolls, baguettes, sub sandwich rolls, and hamburger and hot-dog rolls
