Schär is pleased to announce that it will be widening its gluten-free offering in Waitrose stores from 24th July. In addition to some of the popular Schär products such as the Deli-Style Sourdough bread, Wholesome Vitality Loaf and Seeded Ciabatta being listed, there are also a number of new additions to the range. The new products include fibre crispbread, biscuits and a gluten-free mix.
The Schär Fibre Crispbreads are made from teff and buckwheat and offer a high-fibre lunchtime or snack option. They are free from gluten, wheat and lactose and do not contain any artificial preservatives.
The Schär Mix is an exciting new addition to the range. It is a versatile mix free from gluten, wheat and lactose and is suitable for sweet or savoury baking. It also does not contain any artificial preservatives. The mix is easy-to-use and offers an alternative option to gluten-free flours.
A number of new biscuits have also been added including the Schär Chocolate Shorts, Schär Luxury Biscuits and Schär Chocolate O’s (replacing the Mini O’s). These offer some delicious gluten and wheat-free options for those looking for a sweet treat.
